I like this photo, I think it is lovely crisp and clear, and in great focus! But i have to strain my eyes to see the bird, i wish it could have been just a little bit brighter, more highlights, anything, to bring out the features a little better.well done otherwise.

Thank you so very much! The darkness was part of the idea. I started to entitle it out of the darkness. I have a lot of bird pictures that is bright and shows very good detail. If you are interested look at my portfolio.

Great shot I like the detail of the bird and the dramatic look of this shot. The colors give it a pristine look to this photo. I find that taking these sort of photos hard but really a fun experience anyway great job

This is a remarkable close-up. Fine detail all throughout. His feathers look amazing.
The red beak is a plus, really makes him stand out. Don't think you could have done any better.
The DOF is perfect. A faded grey-black background really enhances the red and earthy tones the bird has.
Overall a very lovely and perfect shot. Well done...Just goes to show, you can find fine photography even in your backyard :) I'm going to start watching my robins a bit closer now.

This shot is amazing. Its the perfect portrait of a beautiful bird. Your sharpness and clarity are so nice I can see the small feathers in her face. The background makes it look like it was taken in a studio setting. Beautifully done.
