I love it. I think the color is beautiful. The textured look is a nice change and the focus is clear and crisp. Great composition and technique.

Awesome shot! very well done. I love the subtle purple and the grain of it, making it look almost like an oil painting. great detail, love the contrast between the flower and the background. very well done!!

Well, I love all the clear detail here Willie. I have to be honest and say that the poster edge filter is personally not to my taste but that is not to detract from a wonderful composition.

Thank you so very much! I've had some say they love it and some like you. I wanted it to be a little different and make it look a bit like a painting. I just hope the judges like it!

This here is a great shot. Great detail in here, great composition. I am not so sure about the effects, it may have looked just as good without it, may be better even. But either way, it is different and I do like different. :)

What I like most about this shot is your perspective, it just pops right into the scene! There is a good blend of the different shades within the flower. I'm just ok with the effect. I am a big fan of postersizing but here it's a bit too grainy for me. But overall a fantastic shot. Good Luck in the contest! :) Joan

Not the background, just the effect on all of the shot. The colors look so beautiful that the graininess takes away from it a bit. Good shot though!:)

The textures show up so well in the petals and the orange lilac colors are very pretty. Great framing and the lighting is interesting. Very good focus with clarity:)
