Patience is a virtue! Great shot! Wow - perfect timing. I love the crisp focus and then some slight blurred areas - emphasizes the moment. I love the green background against the grey feathers.

How lucky or what great patience you have to get a shot like this.
Wonderful clarity and focus.Great DOF.
I love the feel of the water as you can see the ripples and reflections so well and the tiny drops of water as the Heron rises it all tells a great story.

I love nature and watching it. I love how you captured this heron flying back to it's purch. I love the colors of ot's blue tip wings and the stripe on it's head. very very cool to see.
