Love the photo. Great composition. The reflection really adds interest to the shot. The coloring in the water also really contrasts with the bird. Nice job.

Beautiful!! I tried to catch a picture of one a few weeks ago but he was too far away and it came out blurred. You have got this just right, from the clarity of the bird against the background, to the perfectly captured reflection. Very nice.

This a great photo Willie, and I am so glad it came first in the contest. This image shows just a perfect reflection and it is also so nice with autumn colors reflected in the water. I think you almost could have turned this image up side down, and it would still work.
Your photo is also pin sharp showing great details in the feathers of this bird and as always the eye is standing out in the most excellent way. I also think the exposure is perfect and the colors are nice and natural.
The format is perfect for this photo and with a nice cropping. The bird is also well placed within the frame. This is just an all together well taken photo, and your image is nicely balanced and with good DOFF.

This is wicked, the texture and feather details are even in pin sharp focus in the reflection, I like the colors at play in the water behind the subject and then reflected again in the water in the FG, POV?? i think, Great DOF, all you want to look at is the beautiful bird, very welll done, I have fallen in love.
