This would work really well as a painting. The water could be made to look more clear, lighter. And maybe a sky at the horizon line. This is a very good picture.

I love the colours in this shot, the details in the feathers are sharp as are the feet, depth of field is good putting the back ground slightly out of focus.
The only change I might suggest would be to position the Heron slightly to the right in the image to allow it some open space to fly into, not a big deal just personal preference.
