It is a good shot, and I like the way you have captured him trying to hide behind a little branch. Nice sharp definition in the fur and nice catch light in the eye. He looks like a red squirrel to me instead of a gray? IE especially like his little spread of feet at the bottom of the picture. DonkeyOatey

Thank you so very much! I think it is the late time and the contrast that made him look a bit red. These guys are well feed too!

I love the shot Willie. Excellent detail. I was wondering if you tried the shadow/highlight tool in Photoshop on it?
It makes the image of the squirrel much more clearly seen and the background of green very vibrant and rich looking. You could give it a try and see if you like it. Bren

It is a little dark but still very nice. It looks like the ones that we have in our backyard. You have used the light to really make it an attractive photo.
