Love the fact you went with black and white on this one. This was an opportune moment and you took it and it paid off. The ocean spray is great and the resolution is fantastic. Great capture and good luck in the contest.

nicely framed shot with good timing too. B&W sure does add to the drama. Good stop action camera work with sharp focus and good control over the exposure. top shot.

Gorgeous capture and the timing is perfect right when the waves are crushing against the rocks. Beautiful monochrome tone, and also beautiful polished lookin textures of the rocks. Great clarity, lighting, framing and composition.

A strong composition with good placement of rocks and surging waves. This is a challenge because of the constant motion of the sea. There is an excitment of the pounding surf, a feeling of strength and movement of the wind. B/W enhances the snap and crackle of the scene. Nicely shot-HEK

The waves appear to be dancing along the rocks and water. The background with the rocks and the waves is perfectly captured. The darkness of the waves and rocks cause the water to stand tall.

Wonderful shot Annie! Love the b/w choice it does make it more dramatic! Super stop action on the crashing waves with excellent sharp focus, exposure and framing. Hope your camera is ok!;)

I really like the simplicity and yet complexity of this picture. Especially since you had to stand against strong winds just to get this picture taken, that gives you my respect haha of course you already had it. I also like how this does show the power of the water as it crashes against the rocks is jousted into the air. Excellent shot!
