A beautiful picture of the truck in the sunlit field under a blue sky with a load of car tyres in the back. Created by your artist's eye for composition very skilful digital brushwork, beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours in bringing this scene to life.

Thank you very much, Susan for your encouraging comments. I am happy that you noted the tires in the back. You are the only on so far. :o)

It is amazing, but this digital painting looks just like a real painting because of Your brush work, and I really like the color pallet you have used. The sky is done in such a lovely way, and the old pick up is done paying very good attention even to the smallest details.

I also like how well you have used the high lights, and the adding of shadows on the ground.

The format and framing is Perfect, and the car has got a Perfect placement on the canvas. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting Cleo.

The old truck has many miles and many stories to tell if it could tell stories. Well done, like the composition, good sky and clouds, good focus, well done

i just checked to see if sean had seen it (excuse the pun). yes truly a lovely pick up. you get many of these still around in rural parts of the world but each year there numbers dwindle. a collectors item (no doubt). i'm tending to find half battered cars more appealing than restored or new ones. the exact stage where they might not be roadworthy (is what excites me) but still work.

Cleo I have to admit... I know nothing about cars but driving them.

This is just awesome!

Your attention to details is phenomenal...

Colors are perfect. and I love how the grass grows around the old tires.

Wonderful work

Hi Cleo, I am definitely not an expert when it comes to painting, but I think you did a super job with this! You expertly blended the color of the truck and rusty areas beautifully. There is some nice shine on your truck to on the left side. I even see a little shine in the headlight reflectors. All I can say is WOW! If you hadn't said this was out of your comfort zone I would have never known. Sorry I can only give you a cyber six but I wanted you to know just how good I though this was! :o) Nancy

This is excellent, Cleo. Really great digital art painting of the old vehicle. I always find vehicles difficult to draw and paint but this is very life-like. The colours are just right with the rust peeping through and the metallic sheen in parts. Excellent detail painted. The soft background shows it off very well. Great use of colour, light and shade. Best of luck in the contest. Suzanne

Cool,Cleo!
That's a fine looking digital rendition of a
!949 or 1950 Ford three-quarter ton light duty 'hauler,my friend!
It's a tough 'old bird' of a type that's coveted by many antique truck collectors and your picture of it is very enjoyable to look at! : )

Incredibly well done Cleo...(deserving of 6 * 's but have none left ð???
I do not have a clue about digital painting or how hard it might be. However it seems a lot of effort has gone on the detail of presenting this. The colours being so realistic and appealing. The placement in the open paddock allows it to really stand out. Congratulations for going out of your comfort zone and producing a wonderful art piece and all the best in the contest!
