What a wonderful piece and all that it represents. Brought so much feeling and pride to the ones who gave of themselves for us. Amazing details, colors and content. K, gotta go as this one brings tears to my eyes. TAKE A BOW! You are all that and then some!

Timely, I had to step away from this one. It reminds me of a friend who was a medic in Viet Nam. They are the unsung heroes. One doctor would make rounds telling each medic what to do. I cannot imagine. You depict the scene well, thanks for leaving out the blood and gore. You get the point across with simplicity. Well done

This is great. First of all, I agree with your sentiment. Medics see the filth of war and deal with horrendous situations. It is rare that they are acknowledged with the same enthusiasm as the other types of soldiers. I applaud your effort. Speaking of your effort, I love this. The drama, the vividness, the colors and composition of this piece is remarkable. Your drawing is well done. Most of all, this is a strongly emotive piece. Bravo!

Sorry MK - don't have a six - Both you and those guys deserve lots of sixs. Medics both in conflict and civilian life have long been folk you I admire, they truely are heroes.
This work is outstanding with great impact, story telling, detail -everything. Great tribute.

I still like to watch " Mash" and if ever there was a program to salute the Medics it's that one!
Great graphic depiction of the subject Mark, well rendered with your sharpie. Good luck for the contest.

we chewed the same dirt..in the 70's we were called air mobile..i was 2 bn 1st fa it is an light artillery (105mm the m102) which were the light arillery air mobile unit that support 82nd and 101st..we they went red alert we did too..we almost went to war in cambodia in 77 and lybia in 79..they turned us back halfway there but we did many training excercise with airborne units..one more thing our battalion commander use to remind us all the time if our gun is destroyed in battle.we will become infrantry automatical with airborne units and trained us like such..most of our manuvers back then was with schnooks..i always got volunteered for the recon which put me in huey..wink.thanks for ur service as a medic bro and thanks for the great review!

This artwork has much meaning and is very good.. Composition is very good. My only problem is the content is stark at telling the story. I guess that is part of the battlefield crises of helping the wounded. Good Go. Good job

It's a very sad story you tell hear about brave men fighting for our country in a useless way to lose lives. I was in the army at that time and I volunteered to go fight, but at that time they just wanted advisory personal E5 and above. I was just a E3 in Germany. Just got lucky I guess as it turned out it was all for nothing.
Nice art. Thanks Charlie

i got lucky too..i was with 2/1st fa..we r a light artillery unit that is air mobile assigned to the airborne units..in 77 when the carouge stormed the us embassy my unit was in the air on a c130 heading to cambodia..we were turned around halfway there..thank god the marines got them out and our government backed out in the conflict..then in 79 we were back in the air heading to lybia again we were turned around..problem resolve..luckily i got out before my unit before panama and grenada incidents..yeah i got real lucky.wink.thanks for the great review
