I get the feeling of warmth from the sun from this picture. I think that is because the tones in the sky are on the warm side too. Like the detail on the left hand side which for me looks like rock formations. As ever, love the texture in this work. Very pretty and very striking.

What immediately strikes me about this is the light you have captured from the moon and the way the light has spread to the foreground and middle ground. It really is a most relaxing image, very well painted and composed. Nice one.

Very interesting colors. I like the combination. I love the sun with all of it's colors against the gray, purple sky. The terrain is definitely different, but cool. I like the textures. Overall, very nice!
thanks, Natalie

It is a beautiful scenery; surreal and real at once. Especially the light is impressive. It seems to be bethween times. Not night, nor dust or down; but not day either. A time wrap somewhere, in a world apart of ours.

This looks to me like the sun rising up between the rocky edges of a mountain. I don't mind the colours you have mixed, it makes it a peaceful scene and cool. I like the way that the foreground is mottled with colouring addig texture to the artwork.

Just Love this . The Hazy Colours of the Sun seem to drift Lazily over the Foilage in the Foreground . It gives a good depth of field too . Great Result , well done . With Peace , Joe

Wow - this seems to me to be technically excellent Sesha. The way that you have the light playing on the rocks and those superb colour combinations really make this a stand out piece for me. So well composed too - it gives me an 'other wordly' feeling - as though this is on the moon. Really original and creative work in your special style.

This is one of those 'accidents' that is turned out well. Actually I wanted to show foliage on the hills but somehow kept on failing to achieve the desired results in terms of colour and textures.. So out of sheer frustration I turned the foreground to rocks! And presto! It worked.:):) Shhhhhhh!!!! This is secret:)Thank you very much for the time, wonderful comments and the rating. I appreciate it!

Oh I just love it when a happy 'accident' falls into place!

Great piece. I love the color of the night sky and the aura rings around the moon. The rocky landscape shows off well with the light and texture you've created. Well done. Jan
