What very interesting rock formations these are. I always marvel that nature is able to carve things like these with her wind and rain.

Looks like a lot of sentinels standing guard to the hill but obviously lost the battle as mankind still managed to put a road through - nicely composed with good colour and I don't mind the sky not being blue :)
Cheers Mary

Fred,
That is spectacular with the rocky towers standing like statues in among the trees, the two rocks over the tunnel looks like two people kissing. Artistic composition, with beautiful lighting, superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus. The white sky looks just right to me.

Another really nice scenery shot of French countryside. The tones in the rocks come out really well with the added mystery of the road leading through the rock tunnel.

Ha, Ha - I was going to mention a blue sky! Still think the image would look even more beautiful with a blue sky which you could put in yourself. Having said that, these formations are wonderful! Love the colours in the rocks and their strange shapes. All mixed up with lots of fresh green foliage. The more I look at this image the more I see faces in the rocks. Some human and others not.

What catches the eye is not the sky! But those strange looking rocks! The ravages of time must have carved strange looking human faces out of them. Good capture. Thanks for sharing!

What a neat shot on these unique rock formations. Very good focus and frame with a rainy day exposure.

Some photographers insist on a blue sky, I don't, this shot holds its own as it is - its very interesting, well composed and good detail.
