I thought this was a strange contest. Let's face it, the moon is the moon and it does not do a lot. It looks the same most of the time! However, having said all that your shot is very different. I keep looking to try to see a cow jumping over it - perhaps he will come along later! I note you used a Panasonic Lumix to get this beautiful shot. I owned one of these and always got great shots of the moon. The zooms on them are wonderful - better than inter-changeable lenseson DSLR. I sold mine but wish I had kept it! Good Luck in the contest.

I thought this was a strange contest. Let's face it, the moon is the moon and it does not do a lot. It looks the same most of the time! However, having said all that your shot is very different. I keep looking to try to see a cow jumping over it - perhaps he will come along later! I note you used a Panasonic Lumix to get this beautiful shot. LOve the golden crescent of the moon in this shot. I like the textures you can see, You can actually see some of the moons craters This is nicely framed and has very nice lighting. Well Done!

It is not easy to review a photo of a moon on a dark sky. But I CAN tell you that I really like the golden touch and the lovely light in the moon. We are so used to see a silvery moon, but with the golden colors I am sure this sky looked more inviting. It is even possible to see details in the surface of this moon.
The moon is standing out sharp against the dark sky, and I think the format works well. I also think the moon is well placed within the frame. Really well done considered your camera was hand held, and I wish you luck with the contest.

The moon is always a draw card, I know that when I get the chance, with no cloud around I am out there with my camera. Nice composition of this moon, nice focus showing detail on the moon, great orange coloured moon and good depth. Nice tech's. Well done and good luck!

A real wow shot without modification. The special point is the exception orange color and strong yellow border - a special moment , great frame - super focus, sharp contours - perfect lighting, super contrast - amazing composition , your moon invites to sit on him and to dream, great job, all the best for the contest
