A cricket in the thicket, or grasshopper leaf chopper? He'll never tell with that teasing grin, but good for a photo and sharp as a pin. With green and orange and yellow apparel, he'll keep Jairos laughing, overflowing a barrel.

I am almost sure that little monster is smiling. LOL And he is very green. I think what I like the best about this photo is the lovely light from the sun and the way it is falling on the cricket. He is indeed kissed by the sun.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the Cricket, and the exposure is perfect. I also like a lot the vibrant greens in this photo, which gives the photo great impact.
I think the tight cropping works well, and the Cricket is well placed within the frame. This indeed a well taken shot, and with an excellent DOFF.
