Ha,ha,ha! Lol. That in the artefacts of the fair one not know if the people are laugh or cry, ha,ha! Especially when any want hide the fear and puts that stereotypical smile in his face that belie the eyes. Lol. But is fun! Well done

So much to look at. Love the sky with the little stars and moon. Love the expression on his face showing fear and excitement. Love his hair on end. Looks like the fair is going strong. Always fun, always great drawings!

OMG! You never cease to amaze do you? I really love the detail in this one. So you are having multiple fairs in the Memphis area, and what pray tell did you get involved with drawing people at the fair? I don't know about the other, but this is really a nice one. You get very detailed and used some great coloring for this one. I love the idea of a fair, can't ride the rides but it's the essence of the fair that is fun anyways. Great full moon in the background, very exact. Love the guy in the front, but I always the bullet was a caged ride that runs both forward and backwards while spinning not only in a circle like a windmill but the cage itself spins always. It's a great ride for throwing up on. But your front guy here looks very happy and excited about the fair. And I love the layout of the fair you put in. I think this is a great to show a fair. And don't have too much fun with the slow drunks..lol

You are apparently catching up on reviews this morning...lol Did you end up enjoying the fair. Driving drunks around would cause me to go psycho like the Bates Motel.

Thought you were on vacation! He sure appears to be having a good time. Hate those rides myself. Great colors and composition. Good story telling possibilities

Initial impact LOL - great explanation that fits perfectly your image - super humor - super composition, your way to teach and to show the "bad" side of life through the eyes of a smile makes a whole lot of difference - you enter in the consciousness just by your writings and presentation, super scene - of course having fun is OK but this guy seems to have gone over the limits LO - great detail work, thanks for the smile you create in my face - well done

Wonderful expression of how we often feel on some of the rides at the fair. I no longer get on these kind of rides but the young people just love them! Fantastic expression on his face gives such an expectation of much to come! Great colors and as always, excellent detail. Always extraordinary work, a pleasure to view!

Wonderful bright happy fair type colors. Nice facial expression. I figure this guy either had one too many pieces of fried dough, or he pooped his pants riding the bullet. Something has recently occurred to create this hair raising experience.

Mark, I reviewed another sharpie's work on this site and saw how she struggled to get it right. She called you a master and she was right on. I understand that you cannot erase errors with sharpie work. Why don't you do a small write up about your medium and post it on the forum? (to educate peons like me).
I notice on this work the detail of shadow and imagine how difficult that must be to get it just right, not too hard, and not too soft. I like the shadows on his face.
There is so much story on this canvas and we feel the excitement caught on his face (which incidentally puts a big grin on mine). The roller coaster called the bullet which is going at the speed of a bullet, a Ferris wheel in the back and a fairground during a warm summer night/evening (since the sky is not all that dark).
The only constructive criticism I can give you (ahem cough cough) is that his hands really seem tiny in proportion to the rest of him.
Good one.
