Stunning stunning picture Suzanne.
So well composed & executed. Im now painter but i can sure appreciate a perfectly painted picture. The water adds the vibrancy & the reflection really adds depth, reality & dimension.
The tree at the left hand side really anchors the picture & the swan adding movement.
Lovely picture...so very well done.

Oh this is just lovely Suzanne. Such a tranquil scene - and so typically English! I love the soft and gentle colour scheme and the textures in the sky. I can just imagine myself there - roll on the Spring!

Suzanne, this has a very summery calming feel to it, from the clouds, to that welcoming path to the swan, beautifully reflected against the dark shadow of the tree behind him/her.
I feel I would know your work anywhere as you do carry a visual signature and it's all in your execution of strokes and lines, done with cohesiveness.
You draw with confidence, especially well done is your shadow through the branches of the trees , the shadows on the water and how the sky and water reflect each other. Your perspective is well seen and in the distance the soft blue tones of forest is well drawn. The light source is seen falling on the side at the right and that is in the grid. Also well thought out is your horizontal cut giving more to foreground than sky...a 2/3rd to 1/3rd works here. Framing with trees on either side holds our eyes on your canvas as we travel down your path, but I find myself swimming down the river!
Tonality always professionally handled in your work gives it sparkle.
I feel better for having studied this art....the feeling I have is ahhhhhh.

Beautiful painting of the landscape. Amazing color, nice contrast, and great details, like good texture, and great use of the techniques. Is cute here in this peaceful place, and love the image of the swan cutting the water, and the reflection of the sky in them. Good job.
