This work is a show stopper!
Love the whole scene. The colors of the eyes just jump out at you, and that is what Art is all about. Your fine details and vibrant colors just grab the total attention of the viewer. Thanks for sharing this one. Great work.

I sure like the color combination on the eyes. The cat nose almost feels a little wet to me, very realistic. The highlights in the eyes seem very correct. No idea what to improve on, unless maybe to make the under-shadows a little cooler with a little blue or purple tint.

Superb focus. Love the way, you've painted the eyes and its expression. Prominence of textures. A very sharp image. The pupil looks so real, with its glow. Well framed.

A very accurate rendering of the extreme close-up of the cat's face!The eyes have come out very well and draws the viewer's eye in. Te colours and delineation are realistic. Overall a very fine effort. Thanks for sharing!

Ah Suzanne, what a sad story but a beautiful piece of artwork of this little cat. don't know how long ago you lost him but our rescued cat left for seven months once then just came back like nothing happened. Fingers crossed. well done

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Unfortunately Doyle disappeared when my daughter lived in New Zealand and hadn't returned by the time they went to live in Australia last year but as he was originally living wild on a farm, they hoped he would be able to survive. Suzanne

I can definitely see why you would miss him. He has the most gorgeous green eyes and looks extremely good-natured and affectionate. I encountered cats in Nepal that looked at least part Burmese, and they were prized by the locals in the mountains, I'm happy to say.
