What a hoot! So appropriate for Doris . I think she is screamingly funny and her work very clever and her ranking would suggest a great deal of people are in agreeance with that.
This is a great tribute to her, I love it, you clever man you! All those little cartoon characters think so too!

I have always admired Doris's work, I have always had the opinion that she is very artistic with her own style and I do admire her style.

What a terrific tribute. It took me awhile too to warm up to her work. But I think she's getting better and better. Her art is like you said, a simple to the point piece of work. Your cartoon of her and friends is great. She should love it!

These cartoons or comics are they in a newspaper or something? If not they should be. I have never seen a piece from you that wasn't 6 star rating. There are so many different little details here that it would be hard to tell them all. My rating says it all. The laughing cat gets to me.

Great story behind picture.
Again great coloring, they always seem to pop off the page.

This is an amazing act that shows your serenity and respect for fellow artists and your are very right, we fight for recognition of our art style and that is often hard to do - your introduction is very impressive and accurate - your image coming along with is spectacular as she is dealing with all kind of figure you have chosen some of them to make her always company including yourself - your technical composition is fantastic like always, your wonderful sharpie style is recognizable form 100 miles away and always brings a smile on my face - well done and thanks for sharing and rising consciousness about the different styles of art, a huge way indicator for reviewers, xoxoxo

Doris is my sunshine here at FAR!
She always make me smile and laugh even in the middle of a Magnitude 7.2 earthquake that shattered all out 16th century Cathedrals & churches.
I did understand her artworks immediately since I started reviewing it last May 17th.
There was no day that we don't communicate. She even ask my family's welfare aside from my doing reviews for her and vice versa!
So, I waited for this moment to arrived and thank you so much Mark that you are paying tribute to our senior FARtists who make this site worthy of my quitting my landscaping jobs. I don't want to be out of the Top 10 Reviewers Lists!
Sometimes, I only sleep for 2 hours just to catch up with what I've missed.
Doris knows that very well.
