It makes one wonder if they can feel the cold and does it effect them like it does us? Hmm that's something for me to look up. This is great photo you have captured, the swan looks oh so lonely and lost. Thanks for sharing. :)

Great shot. Great clarity and lighting. The swan looks comfortable, but the water looks quite icy. Very nice reflection. Great detail on the swan's feathers shown. Well done.

Nice detail and lighting in this chilling out swan scene. Shows the contrasting forms of water, liquid and frozen, with good enhancing reflection. Good placement of swan in the frame and color combo. Perhaps you could persuade it to fly to Arizona for the winter; I've never seen these here. But then you'd miss out on a photo op, braving the elements for this good capture.

The reflection of the bird in the water is just gorgeous.Wonderful kighting creating interesting shadows..Great harmony of colour in the water.The fine detail in its plumage is excellent. The shading in the water toward top of frame is well done. Technically a great shot. Super image.
