Good reflection of this bird and a good low angle makes the most of the subject,so often people will take a photo of this type of subject looking down on it,by getting this angle it makes the shot so much better...Brian

The Grebe just came up from a dive it seems. The water on its feathers is gleaming in the sunlight. The bird is pin-sharp captured. The reflections are intriguing, especial the distortions caused by the small waves are interesting. The Photo is well focused. It has a good depth. The greenery in the background and the blue water emphasize the colors of the bird.
