Well I don't believe its a secret to anyone on FAR that I love foxes. My portfolio is filled with images of our neighborhood fox.

You have portrayed a very stunning image of this little one. Your detail in the intricate details (i.e., the fur or individual hairs) along with the coloration of the marking pattern is very skillfully done. Those eyes are perfect. I really like the contrast between the fox and the black (night) background. Superb. Kathy

This is a fantastic work of art. The way you have used the medium in this is awesome. I like the way you have blended the colors. The way you have done the highlights and used the white is stunning. I like the way you put the grass in the front of him. The way you have him on the black background is excellent. The detail is amazing. Just an exceptional and beautiful work of art. Good luck in the contest. I love the green eyes and the look you have given him.

A beautiful act and story - they are just hungry and need to survive as men has taken their environment away - they are very intelligent and your story shows it, super portrait, handsome luminosity and night light in your painting, outstanding as it looks just him being under a kind of lamp - super details in his face and again the way you realize the eyes makes the whole character - he is confident and knows that he is safe - super color choice, fantastic how you let him come out for the darkness , super jab, all the best for the contest

Looking surprisingly like a Suzanne Thompson creation! I personally LOVE the fox - each one looks so different to me and it appears you have studied them also. I think you have captured the personality of the creature and the eyes are wonderful! Dramatic background and lighting pushes him toward the viewer! Good nose lather and muzzle work. I have found that changing the pixels to 700 sometimes smooths out the pencil, charcoal and pastel pieces too much-there is no happy medium for we who draw! Lovely! Jean
