Nice job on the magpie. My favorite part of this work are the MANY shades and hues of blues that were used! ...even in its eye! -- very cool.

Nice ink drawing of the magpie. They are very pretty and I love the fact you did just his upper part of the face like a portrait. Love the colors blending into the sky as one. Thanks for sharing, nice drawing abilities.

A wonderful picture of this Magpie gazing skyward with a sparkle in it's eye & the beautiful iridescent plumage beautifully depicted. It looks so real I almost feel it's going to take flight like the ones in my garden Expert & beautiful penmanship, choice, application & blending of your colours all going towards the creation of this work of Art.

Acrylic inks, eh? I must say I learn something new on a regular basis here. The sky is beautifully rendered. Nice details on the magpie, particularly the bill and eyeball. Interesting that you chose to put him or her in a blue hue but I suppose that makes sense as true black does fluoresce blue. Thanks for sharing.

Great composition, you present this bird in a very lovely way and portrait showing the beautiful face - black in black in not easy to realize and you did perfect on show and light application on hid feathers and face - the eye is stunning as well the luminosity of his entire being - the soft pastel background is perfect as a natural color contrast - super job, all the best for the contest
