Very nice Cleo. You were so good at digital art in 2014. Even Better now I must say.
I like the soft almost dreamlike quality of this flower. The soft pastels of the petals are accented by the darker brown center. The background is perfect for this scene. Nice work Cleo and thank you for reviving ~ Steve
P.S. Does reviving a work from several years ago have any effect on this years ratings?

"Mountain Tea". A folk remedy with numerous applications. If interested check out Sideritis Syriaca. A nice painting with great colors.

Thank you so very much!!! Your help in finding the scientific name is greatly appreciated. :o) :o) :o)
Comment from Sean T Phelan
The name sounds like it might have derived from an Iberian language,Cleo!
( But I'm neither a Lingualist or a Botanist so I wouldn't put much faith in that answer,my friend! : ) )
It certainly is a fine looking creation though!
It has the wonderfully 'Dreamy' sort of look that I always enjoy seeing in your creations!
'Good Show'!

Thank you very much Sean! You guess right. Te de Monte is Latino-Spanish and means Tea from The Mountain. michiganmike just identified it. The scientific name is: Sideritis syriaca. :o)

Very pretty flower/herb. I don't know the name either, but it still is an interesting flower. You have used wonderful colors and have put a great deal of work into this. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing. Blessings, Keri
