I know this is one forte you really excel on and I admire you for this macro rendering of a wolf's intense stare.
I like the realistic rendition of the acrylic paint strokes--one could almost feel the wiry textures.
Excellent eye reflection.
Impressive lighting & framing.

This is very beautifully done. The details of the hair are wonderful, great use of your shadows and highlights to create depth. I love the trees in the reflection of the eye, so perfect for a wolf. Best of luck in the contest!

I love this. What is the difference between acrylic paints and inks? Do the inks come from a pen? The effect of what you have created is mesmerizing. Do take a peek at my photograph called coyote eyes. Thanks.

Many thanks for your very nice review. The acrylic inks are liquid so you can drop colours into others before they dry. Some people use them to do landscapes, etc but I usually keep them for detailed work.

Super job. Excellent rich rendering of the fur. The eye looks quite real. You did a great job getting that wet glistening look that all eyes have. The most amazing part of this is the intricate and detailed reflection of the trees and moon in the eye. Just stunning. Good luck in the contest.

This is very nicely done, I like the way you captured the view of what he was looking at in his eye like the reflection in the water, it is so deep. The water color paper also adds nice definition and additional textures to your work to give it a real look. Looks like your looking at the real thing. Beautifully done. Thanks for sharing

I love up close eye shots and artwork. You have cleverly capture this with perfect eye clarity and wonderful catchlight. The way the acrylics are layed on is perfect with colors outstanding. Good luck in the contest.
