Another great work of art that you've rendered with great skill and expertism. Really love the composition and strong lines of presentation in this. Absolutely magnificent work!

Overall I feel this is very run of the mill in the design. I feel that the pointalism in the artwork doesn't work great with the outer element. I feel a more simplified high contrast picture would have worked better. I'm also not liking the font on the bottom part of the circle I don't think it compliments the Rodeo font.
On the plus side I like the pointalism on it's own. You did a really nice job on it. Although some areas where the cowboy meets the horse could use a bit more definition.

Johnny, Johnny, I'll definately analysis the design and keep your comments and those of several others in mind... thanks. seeings how you like the pointalism part, I hope you take the time to review the other pieces (stricktly pointalism) and give me your thoughts on those as well... Cheers... LvO

The cowboys hat is so big it completely covers his face and what you can see of his face is blurred. Also there is no grimace on his face that a cowboy always has while riding a wild horse, there face isn't just plain, you can work on that area as it needs improvement. Kaycees world

Kaycees world, 1st. thanks for looking and taking the time to write such an in depth review.
2nd. I will definately look and work on/at how I can improve my application of the little dots to try and get emotion into the face.
3rd. The hat pulled down onto his head is just the way this guy wore it...
    take care & Cheers... LvO

you have excellent rodeo theme there....rodeos, btw, were much more famous in the past....black and white and blurry pictures complements your theme (since that was how posters and ads were designed before)

a negative comment however on the typeface you used on the phrase "an excellent tradition"....you see...those fonts were not even existed in cowboy days....hence, makes your artwork a flop...use serifs fonts, perhaps the real fonts that were used when stamping wine barrels with labels

Yekis, thanks for the in depth constructive review and taking the time to look, I hope you mean "An American Tradition"? if not then we have a real problem here Stanly (I mean Yekis)... so I guess if it had more of a stamped feel, it would be better? take care and cheers.... LvO

You could certainly work on better resolution. Art is a form of perfection. Outside of that, I think that you have potential.

Excellent coin design with graphic styles from the early 1920s. The textures look very detailed with smoothened edges and interesting cosmic fonts.

I like this one better then the last one. I like the way the horse and cowboy fill up the space in the middle. This is very nicely done and everything is spaced evenly :)
