Well I was hoping you were not in the d color red! =)
I am out now! Sange waves the white flag!
This is impressive and oh so REDtastic.
Love the shadow of the bottle and the lighting here. The technique used to flare the light upward and outward is magnificent.
I am in constant amazement of your talents.
Great work and fine entry!
Socks OFF! =)

I am a major fan of still life so on the rare occasions when someone submits one on this site it invariably gets my attention. I really like this. I like the simplicity of the composition although, a word to the wise, odd numbers of elements always work better than even numbers (although rules are meant to be broken). I also like your choice of colour palette. This also works really well. A couple of suggestions you might like to think about... I would suggest that the shadow of the bottle is too harsh and dark. Softening that light might really help. Also, the table is just a bit too dark so that the contact between the bottle and table is lost which gives the bottle a floating quality. Very nice work. Do let me know if you publish some more still life work. Thanks for sharing.

Is this really a bottle brush or a flower in front of a bottle? Although the subject matter is quite odd, this pic has potential. Mainly, in that it make you look into the photograph and figure it all out (Kinda like what I did just now). What I found out is that the photo is very clear, detailed, and focused! Also, this photo lends itself to a great silkscreen or a lithograph (if the artist is really good?). Anyway it has some potential (maybe change the title to something else).

The name of this flower is Bottle Brush Flower, and the title is therefore a play with words. The name of the flower gave me the idea to place it together with a bottle. Thanks for the review.

This is really an awesome entry into the red contest, very creative. I like the mixed media you used on it. The shadow of the bottle is really good too. Good luck in the contest, great job.
