Absolutely gorgeous colours and tones. Brilliant composition and positioning within the frame. It reminds me of art painted on ceilings of churches. Not to give it a religious context, but to illustrate the similarity in appearance. The vibrancy and detail, and framing and composition give this a 10/10
Cheers

You are spoiling me with all the high ratings, but I do of course appreciate it. Also the very kind review.

Nice metallic quality. Colors smooth almost unreal. Composition unique. Looking at each other? What do you suppose they are saying. Very nice overall picture

As always, your work is so vibrant, colourful and brilliantly executed. I love the idea here. You may be interested to look at the work of my favourite still life photographer, Kevin Best. You can find him on Flickr (he also wrote a superb book on still life). He did a series of photographs around the seven deadly sins with flowers... This image reminds me of that. Excellent work as always Annie.

Beautiful images of the flowers.Liked your idea of placing the flowers diagonally opposite to one another and one showing showing the front view and another with with the side view.Good fazed out background and the petals look bright in yellow with the light falling on it

Beautiful image! I love the b/g also. It is so great the way you posed the shot. It's like star-crossed lovers. Beautiful clarity, lighting and detail. Very nicely done!

This is very interesting, its like looking at two flowers talking with each other.
For this and its supporting background & framing, I would give it a 9+ on my rating scale, for creativity as a 5 does not do it justice.

Great mixed media of the flowers. Use of the same color in different shades is lovely looking, and still without blending in with the subject. Great idea, and great composition here.
