Good entry for the color blue contest. Everyone evidently is showing off their boats in this Regatta on the famous grand canal. Everything about this photo is great from the blue boat to the ornate buildings in the background. Good photo and good luck with it in the contest.

Very nice shot. The detail is nice and sharp. If I can make a little suggestion: it looks to me like the building and the boat are both competing for attention. Since the boat is your focus, maybe lop off as much at the top as you can to give those guys the center of interest. Good luck in the contest.

I really like the shot. I especially enjoy the window frames on the buildings. The boats are great, such a graceful way to travel the "streets" of Venice. I hope to be able to experience this in person someday. Your photo seems to really give a sense of the area though.

This is a rather different treatment of a boat race as it has all the feel of Venice. The beautiful Venetian architecture makes a wonderful background for the vivid blue of the streamlined boat.
