I think this shot is just as impressive as the other shot of fireworks, if not even more. They have given a lovely shine to water and are standing out so well against the dark sky. Very sharp and well defined details in the firework and lovely light.

I do find the negative space on the left a bit too large and would have cropped this side. I suppose you were thinking of a less centered position of the fireworks, but in this case I actually think this would have worked well. An excellent shot of fireworks and with a very good DOF.

A beautiful & atmospheric stop action picture of the aerial fireworks explosions into the dark night sky above Cannes. I can hear the crackles of the fireworks & the gasps of the watching crowds in my head & feel the warmth of a South of France Summer night. Beautiful composition, lighting superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

I hardly ever see fireworks on camera, this is a rare one!! I noticed there are no colors in that sky. The display has a bright illuminating glow around them all which is sort of distracting to me. I like the reflections over the water of them.

Very nice capture.

These fireworks flares are really nicely formed instead of all mushy like you normally see.

Nice also becaue there isn't a lot of smoke :)
