The stark landscape highlighted by the setting sun is very crisp. The back lit tree and bench create a great feeling of a lifeless landscape. The sole leaf hanging on to the bonsai tree is a great touch of determination of the tiny plant. The lavender to purple shades of color give an icy feeling the scene.

Love the color contrast of the purple hues silhouetted by the surrounding images. I enjoyed the way you created a leading line using the sun's reflection along the water to draw the viewer's eye to the single hanging leaf on the bonsai branch. The structure and shapes of the branches are excellent. The use of deeper shades of purple shows movement in the water. The only suggestion I have is to continue the line of sunlight on the water's surface to lengthen the leading line and add deeper lines of purple throughout the water to enhance the appearance of ripples. The initial impact of this digital composition is eye-catching and the silhouettes really allow the viewer to observe the elements of this piece nicely. Well done!

Maybe it's just me... but I don't think the bonsai tree would have a leaf that large.

I think you did lovely work on those clouds in the sky.

Thank you, Blaze. If you look some up on the Internet, many are not quite as small as you would think, especially on the broad-leaf type trees. Anyway, if I made it any smaller it would have just looked like a little bud, lol. I did the artwork for a Japanese haiku poem on FanStory. :)MW

So calming and relaxing. Love the color and the silhouette of the trees against it. The sun glows and casts a nice reflection. Very serene scene. Great job!

very nice digital creation you have presented here...the tones of purple bode well for the appeal of the piece...the sunset and majestic mountains in the background are well complimented by the dark silhouettes in the foreground...nice work and thanks for sharing

Fantastic. I like the whimsical and purplish shades of the sky and the reflections. The silhouette of the tree gives this composition life and certain degree of depth. A cute setting for your tiny bonsai. High five on creativity and concept. Well done and a pleasure to view.
