Go for it Elmer!!! (HAHA)
...not a big fly person... but this one has some humor to it! ...nice artwork on the trap!
I do have a bit of trouble with the light source --- and that the flies do not have shadows.

I am glad I am not one of those flies. Nicely done work with your software. High visual impact. Will be looking for more of your work.

I love the color and use of light. The flies are a perfect added touch to show the predatory nature of the Venus Flytrap plant. Provides just the right balance between peacefulness with the light to the sharp "teeth" of the plant. Nicely done!

An interesting image with a nice humorous twist. I like the colors and the composition, but not so much the radiance . Good luck in the contest.

Very innovative and creative. Nice colors and strong overall composition. I like what you've done around the edges. Good job on telling a story.

Very well done work. Great concept and composition. Wonderful use of light and shadow. Amazing detail. The ominous teeth of the plants and the unsuspecting prey's hesitant approach add a bit of a dark humor to this piece. Terrific color choices. A very well done work. Thanks

This is beautiful.Looks like those flies will have a tragic ending in this story. Very sharp. Love the colors and prominence of those spikes. Depth of background. Well captured and is a joy to view.

well, this certainly tells
a story of what could easily happen. The colors and lines
make me think the plant is
implanted into the picture which takes some of the
scariness away.
I don't like flies, but I
hate to see anything like this anyway. However, it is the ways of the world.

What an interesting piece. I love how the background lends itself to that which jumps out at you. The light rays are also a nice touch and lends highlights to the most interesting aspects. Very good indeed.
