Is there any gem in the world more beautiful than the eye. When I first saw this I thought it might have been the eye of an eagle then voila! a border collie. Beautiful and rare.

WOW, you are right about eyes and dogs, this eye is fantastic, it seems to fall right off the frame , very attractive, very focused, excellent reproduction, the color range of this eye is fascinating , I love the perspective you have given this painting as this eye does not look in ours but into the far distance where he is - excellent detail work on the fur and this eye ball - stunning form and luminosity, a really outstanding piece, thanks for sharing

The fur around the eye helps give the eye dimension. Your highlights and shadows are very good. I love the coloring of the eye. very nice job!

I'm not an artist, but I will say that when I saw this I was studying the detail of the fir around the eye. Found it very good with great shading and blue to highlight parts.

The details have been put on beautifully in acrylic. The fur has been painted in amazing shades. The eye tells tales of love shared by the dog.

Nice colors and lines here. Center of attention is good. But I think you should have not centered the eye on the middle .other than that it's a very good painting. Thanks for sharing.
