Quite a creative shot. Fantastic entry for the contest. I like that you added the green portions to the leaves as well as the red on the flower. The bleeding drops are amazing. Hard to critique due to my own lack of skill, but I know I like it.

++++++ This rates a 6+. Shame I haven't the reward you deserve. This is a very creative image. I can imagine how long it took to create. Awesome detail from the textured leaves, sparking glass, to the blood-dripping rose. Excellent depth and exposure. Fantastic! Bravo:)

You have created a fantastic picture and it shows that this was long to do and only possible with much dedication for the details -
the idea alone is excellent your selective color is more than just that you let the color run out of the subject with drops that are perfectly dense like oil painting in three dimensional structures
excellent composition, super skills of layer work -fantastic DOF contrast with special light effects - super job, thanks for sharing

This would work as an illustration but for me it does not work as a work of art. I mean it could be used as an album cover for some last incarnation of miss dracula comes back to spill more blood or to illustrate ¨Silver Threads and Golden Needles cannot mend this heart of mine...¨ Nice clear image, I like the feathering effect in the background but not sure how it relates to foregrounded rose. I have mixed feelings of the impression this work makes.
