You captured her essence of beauty and charm and also a youthful appearance too. Has the feel of a great water color master. Brilliant work as always

I hope she's got Raquel's facial features too!
The expressive eyes.
The trademark flaring nostrils.
The protruding teeth with that sensual pouting lips.
An impressive artwork rendition. Colorful creation with excellent strokes & textures. Good compositional style. Great overall impact! Thanks for sharing...

Thank you Dick. She is an amazing woman. Her husband has loved Raquel for years. This is her anniversary gift to him.

I like how you use the blending stick to create such lovely soft portraits. Looks like mostly a very soft pencil too as I can't see any definitive pencil strokes.
You've created a very good likeness, Linda. Very nice composition. Suzanne

beautiful rendition. i don't know how you do it, you have a gift. this is very lifelike. I couldn't have taken a photo of her and edited it in PS and made it come out as good as this.

Whilst I am no artist, the success or otherwise of a portrait lies on the accuracy of the subject. In this case it is absolutely clear who the subject is. You have brought out very well her striking facial features and I am sure your friend will be delighted with his gift. Many thanks for sharing

Delightful picture of Raquel. Your talent and technique is amazing. I like the lightly shaded background. The eyes and mouth are very well drawn. He should be well pleased with his gift.

Very beautiful lady and drawing. You did an incredible job with this. Excellant details and exact likeness. I love how her clothes drift or blend into the background. If your friend's husband does not like it, you can send it to me. Another outstanding job my friend. Thanks for sharing.
