Your heart is evident in your creation from a mere photograph. You have taken a picture and turned it into art. The colors are amazing, with the words criss crossing in the picture.

I love what you did here. Radio City Music Hall an icon of the Art Deco period- and you improved it! Hard to believe. Worthy of enlargement and framing I can see this in a streamlined gray leather living room, or any monochromatic room. Good for you. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest!

Hard to believe is right. I think it's maybe more Art Deco-ish than the original. So happy you liked it.

This is very cool! First off, I love abstracts that I can make some sort of sense out of. My grandkids make 'abstracts' all the time and I don't consider it art (I don't tell them that, of course, lol) In this case you took a real slice of Americana and turned it into Art.

Very well done! Best of luck in the contest :)

Hey Shirley, who would have thought 4 1/2 years ago that you would like my abstracts!! You don't have to make sense of an abstract though, you just have to notice how it makes you feel and feelings don't make sense so it's perfect. If it's an interesting emotion, just let it be and see where your mind goes. If it is entertaining to do so no matter the emotion, then it's a good abstract. Kids make good art because they are expressing emotion and they don't have that many words for feelings. If you tell them what emotion you feel, it helps them develop language for their emotions. Many people aren't in touch with their emotions or find them embarrassing so they don't get much out of abstract art. Or they think that it should be something profound when usually it's not. Sorry to go on. Thanks for enjoying. Paula
