Such stunning colours. This photo just jumps out at you the colours are so sharp and clear. It is an unusual scene but you have created a photograph which has my eyes junping all over its contents. Well done.

Thank you so much for the beautiful comments, BigRed. But may I ask why the 4.5 rating. You don't give a reason, or mention anything that needs editing. :))mw

Sorry - you are right. I initially gave you the 4.5 points however as I studied it more I realised how good it was. I would like to change it to a 5 but don't know how to do it.

Big Red, thank you for getting back to me. Changing a rating is easy... just click on the painting or photo again, and it will take you back to your review. You can change it there and then click "save" again. It will let you change any lower rating UP to a five, but not to a six. And you can't LOWER a rating once you've given it. Hope this helps, and I sincerely thank you for the beautiful and positive review. :)mw

This is an amazing piece. I always enjoy viewing something different and this certainly fits the bill. Excellent composition. I love the colours and the clarity made even more pronounced with the vignette. Nice job.

I am not sure what this subject is but I like it a lot.

The curvilinear form creates a certain serenity to it.

The use of bold blue and purple color has a dramatic effect on the overall image.

I like the dynamic center of the sphere. It makes one think about what it might be.

The clarity of the image is amazing!

Great post and thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Allan. You never played marbles when you were a kid? The shooter marble is the one you shoot at all the other marbles to knock them out of a circle you draw in the dirt. At least that's how we played, lol. This marble is in a little display stand. Must have been someone's favorite shooter. :))mw

That is funny, as I was the local grade school marble champ. When I saw "shooter" I was thinking marbles, but so much has changed since those days I figured it must be something else.

Our big thing was steel marbles (actually ball bearings), they were the prized possession.

What a great idea... ball bearings! And you can get them in any size, too. Being a girl and crazy about horses, I used to pretent all the marbles were a herd of horses, making little corrals for them out of sticks and twigs. Kids were more inventive then. LOL!!
