Good photo. Initial impact is a great tale of days of yore. The focus and color is very well done from the wild flowers, to the wall, and those of the man. The gray of the sky and the birds give this a nice POV and depth to the photo. Thanks for sharing and HAGE.

First glance I thought of Mel Gibson before noticing the title. Good catch. No he doesn't look like Mel but the character double is very good aside from the beard. Interesting background. At that era I think the druids were the ones to paint their faces. Good job

It was a practice that dates back during the Romans invasion.. the romans documented about the druids painting themsleves blue and having mustaches. Claim they looked like blue demons attacking them..good capture. The clarity is good. The angle of the shot of the medieval Scottish warrior is good. The capture of the light is good. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and good job overall
