Now that is a real downpour. The composition is appealing and the muted colors are as if the rain has washed away the colors. Best of luck in the contest.

Well,I'm not much of a Photographer and the few photographs that I take don't have anything to do with stormy weather so I figure that contest isn't for me! : D
This rainy scene that you've presented us with certainly is a good looking picture in my opinion though!
It's interesting,colorful,and a lot of fun to view!
