Fantastic initial impression! Excellent blend of technique and artistry! This is a beautiful image! Very interesting subject, well captured with perfect focus, the image is clear, excellent lighting , amazing detail throughout, natural colors and tones, well composed, this is a winner ! I love it! Great POF!!! - clarity of lines and edges, excellent!
The shadow - amazing! Movement off to right - a Wow!
The color - of yellow and soft peach - with lime green - amazing!
The bit of shadow in left background - amazing!
The black/dark background - excellent to set off color and plant!
The "catchers" or outstretching pinnacles, reaching, and will...catch the fly - superb! A wow!

Way cool. I'm really going to have to get good at editing. and then try the topaz effects out. These are cool. Your focus is great on the fly trap. and then to isolate it and do all that WOW.... amazing. Thanks for sharing. I am going to have to isolate myself for a weekend or two to just to work on editing. LOL.

Love the use of mixed media in this photo- the hyped contrast really emphasizes the plants and almost creates a sense of movement. The details in the fly traps are amazing, and I enjoy the overall piece, from composition to lighting, colors, etc.
