Romantic photo and your choice of watercolour has helped to make this still life artistic. I also like the glow on it that diffused feel.

You have a solid presentation here, good crop, nice dof to soften the background yet keep bottle sharp as a tack.

Colour palette is excellent as well has a nice homey feel to it.

A very inviting image.

What a coincidence! I am sitting here having a glass of Sutter Home Pink Moscato and up pops you picture of Sutter Home Chardonnay. I think the Moscato makes the scene look much more appealing. Nice lighting and the glass in the background makes for an interesting element. Nicely done Mary.

Cool,Mary!
This picture of the little bottle of 'Sutter Home' wine, with the glass behind it and the pleasingly soft coloration and slightly blurred focus, looks great!

I use a lot of wine in cooking and amazed that even some good quality wines that I would drink come with twist off caps. I find it strange that the glass and candle are rendered so soft while the bottle is so sharp.

Thank you. I think the filter I used did that to the glass. That is why I am reluctant to use some filters because that confuses some reviewers and they think your work is out of focus.

First I would dump out the candle! I also cook with wine, usually in a glass. It might make a dinner taste better, but after a few glasses who cares. I like how the stem of the glass matches that of the bottle. The background presents the items well.
