Very nice and colorful painting of your daughter's Cockerel. Nice interplay of light and shadow. Great contrast with the light background. Good attention to detail with great initial impact. Well done. ~Alveria

An impressive artwork rendition. Colorful creation with excellent strokes & textures.
Is the comb really that pale? Our cocks here have "redder" comb colors...
Tightly framed on the tail part...
Good compositional style. Great overall impact! Thanks for sharing...

Nice clear painting. Colors are extremely nice. Maybe the comb, plus is beak should be a little darker to attract the eye more. Eyes, feet body Plus shadow is perfect.
Good Luck

A very nice rendering of this rooster. Natural colors and the details of the feathers is well done. Background is perfect for the subject to stand out. Excellent entry for the contest. Best of fortune in the contest.

Nice looking bird. Good colors. Good highlights. The comb really brings things out. Like the light background. Helps things. Good shadow underneath. Thanks for sharing.

Simply gorgeous! Oh gosh, brings back some lovely memories. My late mother was obsessed with hens and chickens so this would definitely be hanging somewhere in the house! Your colours and blending technique is just wonderful and lovely shading and reflections. If I had a 6 I'd give it to you.

This is a beautiful representation of a cockerel. I would just call this a rooster but not sure if there's a difference. Great colors and layering with the feathers.

Many thanks for your very nice review. I think the American word is rooster whereas in England we call them cockerels. I'm glad you like this.
