We live in black bear country and I love them.I've had some close encounters that make you nervous but I always enjoy the energy from them.My husband was sitting on the edge of a clear cut one time and a cub decided to check him out.He kind of kicked his feet a little to scare it off but it only raised its curiousity.As it is batting at his feet and he is nervously watching the sow work her way up the side hill I am up above laughing my head off ! I'd have stopped laughing if Mom had gotten much closer I am sure.Well anyway the art work is well presented and you already know the respect I have for your talents.Thanks for sharing.

Im guessing the original is much clearer then your upload. This looks very very soft and distracting and detail is hard to see. Maybe it is my monitor or the upload

This is a very beautiful work of art that you have presented here with the bears. The various looks to them are great the way that you clustered them all together is very nice but I especially like the large one as there is some thing about his eyes that really set the tone to make him come alive. Thank you for sharing this with us

Lucien, I just love your art, and this is another good example of the reason why! Beautifully done, I love that you show these bears in a number of different poses, and my favorite is the little one to the left side. That's just a very sweet pose, and I love the looks of that one, though they're all really good! Bravo!
