Hi Chuck!
That's an interesting and unusual cloud formation,my friend, and you've captured it impressively in this fine shot!
The scene has a cool Surreal look about it that I'm really diggin' a lot!
Good Show,my friend!

...and it looks digital!

Chuck, oftentimes on this site we have "clouds" contests for this would have been an excellent entry, y'see it is more about the cloud than it is about seascape..

I do find this image has tremendous visual punch, it shows the power of nature and is well taken with good focus and the horizontal cut follows photography rules (not that they need to be followed). Great contrast really shows the depth and heaviness of cloud.

It is a well seen and well taken image.

First of all skies preparing for a storm, beautiful greys, and white. This big grey cloud resembles a pair of lips I believe it's name is "Altocumulus" he is trying to hide from wind. Lovely green waves coming fast. Nice sand, and nice colored mountain on left. In all this picture is very nice, well centered and properly shadowed.
Thanks for sharing. Congratulations and Good luck.
Lolly.

Dammit Scotty beam me up!? Actually it looks more like the 1701D..that's from captains picarss day(next generation).. Yeah I'm a Trekkie..wink. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the wild cloud is great. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I love your picture and the title.
Colors of sand and water are fantastic. So Captain Kirk better look, perhaps should not land his ship, since you mentioned the storm coming.
Thank you very much for sharing

Poignant notes.
Still a nice retrieval from a film capture.
Nostalgic & tranquil seascape.
Dramatic nimbus cloud lording over this serene sea.
Soft waves accentuate the image aesthetically.
Just a slight tilt my friend to be straightened...
Other than that, this is a good entry...Thanks for sharing... Best of luck in the contest!

A stunning scene to be sure Chuck. The colors and the overall impact of the photo is so well captured. Good capture of the wave breaking as the previous wave is receding from the shore. Good eye for the motion of nature as it goes about it's business ~ Steve

Well that is some kinda cloud Chuck...and you're right....does remind me of the Enterprise.

Framed well...and that's a BIG cloud for sure. I like that we can see a bit of the sand dunes....sort of gives a better perspective of just how big the cloud is. It's one ominous looking sky too....not surprised you got wet.

Focus, color, exposure all look good. OK...Spock out!
