Glowing Swans

Swan Ornament

This is an unusual idea. The hidden flame gives the swan a mysterious almost mystic glow. There are two captures of the same candle holder in this collage. The lake-background and the moon are added. Did I understand this right?
I must say, this is perfect layer work. I find the two heart shapes which are build by the swan necks and its reflection fascinating. This is a fairy tale illustration which could be used as greeting card at Valentines, weddings and anniversaries.
Best luck for the contest

Your creativity is amazing. I opened the larger view which shows better; especially of the interesting reflection swans necks make. The glow isn't showing as well as I'd like. Not sure how you could render that though. perhaps at a slightly more over the swans? I wonder if a slight white vignette would lighten the background and/or did you try a Harvest (orange" moon? Best to you!

Gorgeous as always. I think I would like to be a good friend with Sange too. The two swans are beautifully placed. They seem to glow. The background you have chosen really highlights the glowing of the swans. I suppose the moon is there to help with the realistic glow of the swans, but I'm not sure it was necessary. Either way it is still stunning.

A very striking photo of these two swan figurines, glowing in the moonlight. Beautiful starry sky and tree silhouettes in the background. Great focus and lighting show the intricate details of the swans and nice reflections on the surface they stand on. Well done.

A very eye appealing scene Annie. I like the way you added the moon and the background. The swans are sharp and clear with great color. The glow works very well in this. Well done Annie ~ Steve

This is a very interesting picture. I love the texture of the swans backs the way the orange reflects off them and the dark sky with the moon glowing. Nice post.

Very interesting us of light. Gives it a nice dramatic effect. The porcelain texture adds interest. Wonderful control of layering. Thanks for this. Cheers, James.
