Happy Birthday Norway. This is a fitting photo for the country. I learned a lot about Norway from you notes. Do they shoot fireworks and such today? The temperature still is a bit on the cool side isn't it?

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. No, we don't shoot fireworks in this day. Probably because the evenings are very bright at this time of the year, and fireworks actually need a dark sky.

I hope your country welcomes and appreciates the card it has just received! It is certainly beautiful and appropriate for the day you explain. You have certainly done a lot of very fine work in arranging and photographing this scene. I am though just a little surprised that Norway does not really celebrate its Liberation Day!

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. By liberation day I suppose you mean when we were free from Sweden. I think the reason for not having this as our National day is that the 17th of may celebrations were already established.
