Not familiar with the movie but it looks like the late Tom Selig may have played this role. A very fine drawing with nice detail and beautiful tonality.

It is Tom Selleck. He is still alive. Thank you for this amazing review.

A very intriguing drawing. It is subtle and neat especially his outfit. It requires a special patience to do such this drawing, I think.
His pose and expression are well drawn.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hey Joel, I did this for a friend. Now I am looking for a new project.

This is excellent as always Linda. Love the way you draw the clothes so effortlessly! I don't think I will ever get the hang of shading techniques that bring the folds and creases to life. I also love how you do backgrounds, another thing I have not mastered!! You are the best and I am so envious of the things that you do with every single piece of art that you put on here. They put you on the top of your league every time. You make each piece the best it can possibly be right down to the buttons on a shirt to the whiskers on a mans face. Unbelievable!!
You have a God given talent that only a very few pencil artists have!! Sincerely,
Barb

Barb. This is truly a masterpiece of an evaluation. Thank you so much. Your work is amazing.

It would be wrong to rate this any less than 6 stars! Your graphite skills never fail to amaze me. :) One suggestion I have for this is to have the rifle a little more vertical so the border doesn't touch it- right now there's a slight point of conflict. (We learned that in art class recently lol) Otherwise this is an amazing piece with great technique all around!

Dearest Vivian, I went to art school for one semester. This was way before I began to draw. One thing that I learned is that those who do, do. Those who can't, teach. The teachers that I encountered were so absent of talent that it astonished me. Shortly after my semester in art school my daughter died. This was a turning point for me. I began my actual art phase. Without the guidance of the so called teachers, I began the process of art for the sake of art. The real teacher is God.

I am always amazed at your drawings and the details. I would love to see this with some color. Have you tried working with color? I need to look. Such detail and lights and darks. You always do such a wonderful job catching the expressions of the person. I am amazed at anyone who has that ability. Wonderful job.

I have tried working with color. Some of my works show this, but they are few. Seriously, I am a bit frightened by color. I have displayed my work only in graphite. Maybe someday I will graduate into color.

Give it a try. Have no regrets.

Another fantastic drawing Linda. I must say at first glance, I thought this was Tom Selleck. Great attention to detail. Very realistic looking reminding me of an old vintage looking photo. Well done. ~Alveria
