Almost a monochromatic composition with fine details & textures.
Creative concept.
Informal arrangement.
Nice metallic warm glow.
Thanks & good luck!

Nice shot of everyday things presented here! Your thoughtful composition draws the eye to see more. Exposure is good and I like the grainy appearance you have applied. Well done!

A very fine shot. I like the uncomplicated setting that places emphasis on the three forms. The lighting is very good and the details are excellent. Very nice colors and good use of the vignette.

Cool,Mary Eileen!
I don't know 'whoop' about "Chiaroscuro Techniques" but I'm enjoying the wonderfully mundane ambiance of this fine scene that you've presented us with!
'Good Show',my friend!

I knew I had seen this one before, and then of course I realized it has been promoted before. I like how you have used day to day items. I do however the composition could have been even stronger without the toaster (I believe) on the right. Then you would have kept a nice simplicity.

Your photo is nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in the items, and the exposure is spot on. The low key effect is of course obvious.

The format you have cropped the photo into works really well and the pot and salt and pepper are well placed off to the left. I think this is an all together great looking and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

I don't understand this technique you use for this photograph. You have the name Chiaroscuro but I have never seen this before. Is it a common and usual thing to take pictures of everyday objects?

Thank you. It is a technique where you have very dark shading applied with lighter areas. I think if you google it you can get a better explanation. The old masters used it a lot in their paintings
