I love the narrative. I know most of it from a long time ago. This is an interesting depiction. I have seen many "images" of what she was supposed to look like. Well displayed.

WOW opening I just saw the snakes in my screen gave me Goose Bumps - a wow composition, the face is well chosen with the most wondrous arrangement you applied on her head you reached perfectly your objective to create the Medusa - fantastic composition, excellent use of space, this is mostly art for me with photographic picture's so well transformed that the artistic composition is striking
fantastic shadow and light application, super DOF contrast and sharpness, we stunning work, surprising and excellent in details, awesome Annie

Not sure what to make of this as it looks more like a painting than an actual photo,do know its quite clever in its concept though,not a thing I would undertake even if I had a clue how to do it,but each to his own,clever stuff...brian

What a great rendering. I remember learning about the Greek Gods and Medusa. She was always a favorite. I like the way you put the snake skin along the body leaving the face exposed. The background adds to the drama of that calmness of that evil look. Very well done Annie ~ Steve
