Wow - This one definitely grabbed my attention. The stark contrast between dark and light, the bold dark lines emerging from the face and those eyes! Not sure to rescue her or run from her. The story telling ability is exemplary and your eye to detail is immaculate; all the way down to the fingernails - The image is scaled so well and could easily be construed as a digital art or manipulated photo (the realism is quite notable) incredible work that certainly deserves my first 6 of the week. Awesome picture and nice poem along with it..Like the way the picture looks like it was dropped onto the paper and the edges splattered outwards.Very striking and great proportion. Good job!

Wow! The dramatic rendering is amazing. The poem is the key to the rendering. To think this is done in pencil is amazing. The detail is so lifelike especially the eyes. The stare and the emotion conveyed is outstanding.
The splatters of black and greys convey an explosion of her fear and emotions. Excellent work.

Beautiful. How sophisticated this piece is. It really has a great deal of emotion in this. It really has a feeling of the desperate times we now face of fear and uncertainty. I love this done in B/W...Very powerful image

Very well done using the media, I especially like the emotion shown in the eyes.
It is a dramatic rendering that really works; especially with all the splashes around the face. That aspect adding that erratic explosion of disbelieve, of shock shown in the eyes.

Wonderful image - I so enjoy the look on this young lady's face. Powerful. Great lighting... I'm not able to draw in any way but if I could...would love if my images had this grand power. Your detail in the drawing is amazing, different and a wonderful capture. Her eyes are amazing - that look upon her face commanding. Fabulous artistry. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting,,by the poem it is a boy,,to me it looks like a girl,,love the detail work here, the eyes, hands and fingers are really well done, not sure why the look of this child,,but it does make you think,,I like the concentration of this piece right on the face and hands and nowhere else,,

quality,shear quality...this whole piece captures the emotion that you have shared with us in the description. I love this sort of work ,particularly the way the image explodes outwards to create movement yet the detailed expression maintains the central focus of the purpose of this creation...love it my friend ..a six from me
