awwwww he wants you to scratch his belly! go ahead and try. you would be a bigger man then me.. wink. lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the bear on its back waiting for a scratch is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Another endearing & pathetic image.
Yet he still enjoys his caged condition or he's just used to this kind of existence...
Obscured eye clarity.
Diffused focusing.
I'd consider cropping more on top for a consistent Compact framing.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF. Thanks for sharing...

Five minutes of rest and relaxation is the image I'm seeing. :-)) He seems quite relaxed behind those bars... I wouldn't be. LOL Great detail over this fellow within his situation. He seems quite easy going. Great color and lighting as well. Thanks for sharing.

Xoxoxo...the black bear is cute in such pose. He seems friendly in such expression ( although I dared not to touch him...)

Focus is good. Thanks for sharing this fun moment.

Looking at your day at the zoo in pictures makes me appreciate the Detroit Zoo all the more. Here there are no bars or cages. All the animals are in open compounds with moats that separate them from the people. It is great to be within 20 feet or so of a tiger without having any bars or fences. A nice relaxed pose this bear is providing for you.
