This mound is certainly unusual. I wonder if it is man made or natural. I like the way you frame the temple with the flowering cherry trees. A wonderful time of the year captured in an artful way.

This is indeed a beautiful scene Fred. The temple on its own is lovely, but with the cherry trees in the foreground, and the hills in the distance, this is for sure a place worth while visiting.

Your photo is sharp and it is fine details to be seen in the temple. I also think the exposure spot on.

I especially your POV, and also the cropping is working really well. I also think the placement of the temple is really good. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
